I have a IH 350 Utility and on top of the PTO is a large plug looking like nut. What is it. If it is a plug what kind of lube goes in the PTO. Sometimes after running my PTO for a while (and it seems hot) it acts like it is slipping. Not sure if it is a lack of fluid problem or if the PTO is going bad. I am told I have the kind of PTo with several discs inside so there is no adjustement.

First off do you have an I-T manual?? If you do have one then look on page 69-section 208, it tells you how to do the adjustments on your PTO. The manual is IH-10 if you don't have one get one $30 cheap for the info it gives you
