I have been wanting a remote valve for my '52 Super M and I have several questions about this unit. Here goes: 1: Is it possible to rebuild the valve unit if need be? If so who offers parts or kits for it?

2: Can I use regular pipe fittings to plumb the system of do I need special fittings?

3: Will my existing filler cap work? Mine doesnt have the vent on top.

4: Can the rear half of the breakaway coupling still be purchased?

Any information on this valve assy. would be like a Christmas present. I greatly appreciate all the input I recieve from all of you on this site.

Tom: You will have to provide more information as to how SM is already equiped. Does it have belly pump or live hydraulics? What hydraulic function do you currently do with the system? Knowing those factors are a must before anyone can advise you where to start from.
