Hello All,

I have a 1944 M with a S/N of FBKM 71667. I need a new S/N tag for it & I was wondering what would be the proper RPM for the tag?

The books says Max Governed RPM is 1450, but I am not sure if that is right for the S/N Tag.

All help is appreciated!
\s\ Robert

PS, I plan to do an engine teardown this winter - it's running on only 2 cyliners!

Thanks for the replys!

I guess that I'll just go ahead with the engine S/N and let people know that it is not original.

The chassis serial and the engine serial are not the same -- if you do that then there could be two M's with serial #FBK 71667. The prefix FBKM is used only for the engine, the chassis prefix is FBK.
