My MTA contnues to leak from the oil pan bolt. \Is there a teflon or fibre/copper seal or gasket that will solve this? IH or aftermarket? Would teflon tape cure the problem? figure that would just melt down.

Had same problem with 560 pan. I found a small crack next to bolt Brazed it no more leak. Might check for cracks.

If you are going to drop the pan then one can use a pice of steel , myself i use a pice of 3/4 xabout 5 inches and a couple inces wide as a bucker and use a hammer and tap the bolt holes flat and install a new gaskt. myself i do not like useing Dr. Blue on any engine parts for a sealer since i am old fashioned i'll use copper coat or prematex 3 H and don't use a six foot pice of pipe to tighten about 12-15 ft. lbs is enough .

Try a flat copper washer on the bolt. They're used on flex brake lines that are connected to the brake caliphers. Once in a while you get a leak. Usually can be corrected by running the washer over a flat file or replacing the washer.

To re-use a copper washer after filing, soften it by heating it red hot and drop it into water.

Oil pan is possibly bent, bolts tightened too tight at one time. Short of getting another pan, try silicone sealer and only tighten pan slightly. In a day or so, once the silicone has set up, tighten up the pan, may work.
