Hi ya Angle Iron... in reply to Angle Iron, 11-23-2005 10:41:24
...yep, Charlies shoe shop is just down the street a couple of more blocks; he's still there. I just had him fix a pair of boots up just the other day! Have a good turkey day & don't let those storms blow you away. I have a brother & sister-in-law living SW of Ethan, just west of where the Betts road & Ethan road intersect-they've lived there for years. (Another $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

No snow storms here. Should be in the 60s or 70s Thurs. I lived a mile east of Betts and a mile south of Ethan Rd. Its been a while since we were there. Not much left of the place I grew up on. Last time just the old house was standing and in pretty sad shape. Last one to live in it, looked like cattle had been in it when we stopped to look. Ethan rd (old 42) was just about shot when we were there and from what I read in the paper its worse now. Its hard to believe they let it get so bad.
