Clutch problems

The tractor is TA delete so it cannot be the TA clutch. Everything looks normal looking up through the opening under to bottom that you remove to grease the throw out bearing. Would adjusting the adjusters (mid way on fingers, not on the finger ends that contact the throw out bearing) on the fingers change the geometry any so the pressure plate would travel more? Thanks.

Just what seems to be the problem here ????? If the clutch has the correct amount of free travel then the clutch should work the way it was designed as far as changing the adjusting screws on the finger that is not needed as that is set to factory spec. Now if something has come apart in the pressure plate or one of the damper spring has broke and come out of the disc then it is time to R AND R the clutch . Now if you are not getting the clutch to stop as soon as you push it down and your getting gear grind then there is nothing wrong as this is not a car or pick up and the gears do not stop that fast . Idea the engine down then push the clutch in and wait a couple seconds and lightly bring it into gear.
