Keith and Shawn, from looking at your picture and if the part you are identifying as broken appears to be on the inside of the clutch release shaft. Looking at my Super C parts catalog TC-44 it is shown as reference no. 34 on page 103. Page no. could be different if someone is looking in a different catalog as mine is dated as issued 5-1960. The part is called "clutch release lever" and is identified by part no. 355 800 R1. The part should be secured to the clutch release shaft with a woodruff key, and a 3/8-24NF x 1.75" long hex-head cap screw along with a 3/8" hex nut and lockwasker. Hope this helps. Hal

Thanks Hal, you are correct, it is just as you have discribed. On old cars same part was called bell crank. This tractor belongs to my son, Shawn, helping him to get it running and restored. The release lever broke right at the keyway. Migraine thought he might have a few parts for us...Thanks

Keith, Your terminology is correct with the "bellcrank" as I was just providing the part catalog name. I spent almost 40 years working at a little airplane factory up in Washington state as an engineer called Boeing. I've seen lots of bellcranks and they come in all shapes and styles. Loved your state and certainly tried to retire there but I think Oregon doesn't like new folks moving in unless to Portland or Bend. It was certainly quite easy to move back to the family farm here in Missouri and now I have 10 times more land to work with then I could have ever afforded in Oregon. Spent lots of time in your state on vacations for 20+ years and certainly know some real hideaways and nice places. I'm betting Mirgrain will have the part you need. Good luck to you and Shawn in your project. Hal

Hal, I agree, "bellcranks" come in all shapes, sizes and styles especially in Seattle...You see them walking everywhere, in a hurry to go no place...LOL Thanks again
