I just put a new seat (deluxe seat assy. from K&M)on the 560 lastnight. The seat fits fine, just like the old one except that the new seat sits on top of the slide lever that sticks out of the right side of the seat. The old seat had a half-circle cutout where the lever stuck out of the seat base. This new one does not. I wonder if the slide lever wore the half hole in the old seat and the new one will do the same. Has anyone encountered this problem before? I hate to start cutting on my new seat to keep the seat from resting on the lever but not sure it will work like it is.

The replacement stuff is colse but no cigar . Ya may be able to put some shims or washer under the mounting points and raise it up a bit to clear. Just wish K & M would use a littel better material so there seats would last move then a couple years .

Actually this seat mounts at the front on two small dowel pins. It pivots on those two pins and more or less just sits down on the rails. I thought about mounting some rubber pads on the rails but that would cock the seat at an angle. Oh well. Just wondered if anyone else had ran into this.
