How do you lean out the gas on the Super A? It's a Zenith carb. I also installed a front plow on her and built a box on the back and fiiled it with rocks for weight. Also some serious chains on the wheels. How good are these little tractors at plowing? The blade does not swivel or pivot.

On the zenith running too rich - had the same problem on my super A. Finally, after trying everything else, I adjusted the float level setting to about 8/32" instead of the recommended 5/32". This lowered the fuel level slightly in the bowl, and cured my problem.
I hope it will work for you.

There is no provision on the Farmall A Zenith carb for adjusting the fuel mix at high speed. Provided the carb is the original.

Your carb may or may not have the adjustment, but if it does there will be a screw close to the bottom of the carb that you turn it out to make it richer and turn it in to lean it out. As far as the plow it will do ok but if it would pivot to the side it would be even better. Your problem will be getting to much snow up there and then haveing to turn off to the side to get rid of it. If it pivoted then it would slide off as you where plowing.
