I was wondering if anyone knew how to turn up a fuel pump on an international 756. It has a rotary pump on it and i only know how to turn up inline pumps. Please e-mail me if you can help. Thanks

That is not rocket sience to do that Where your shutdown cable hits the stop on the run side just loosen the cable and then loosen the nuts that lock the stop and back out a littel about a turn to turn and a half . If ya go to far then it is China Syndrom then yo'll be asken on how to rebuild .

Tractor vet does that increase RPMs as well as fuel flow. Is that a rosa master pump like on my 856.

No, that does not increase RPM, just fuel. No, 756 does not have a Roosa-Master, it's a Robert Bosch rotary.

Thanks K.B.826 I was just wondering because I increased RPMs just a little on 856 years ago but I wasn't wanting to turn up fuel and didn't think I did by adjusting RPMs.

No, you didn"t increase HP by increasing max rpm.

Now I came on here about a year and a half ago and got told that increasing fuel increased RPMs...

Well I didn't tell you that. "Turning up" the pump is nothing more than adjusting the amount of fuel delivered at rated speed. It has no effect on high idle speed. You could certainly adjust high idle speed to increase max RPM, but why?

On the 414's and 436's motors I turned up fuel all the time but it never increased rpms.
