Hi all.Been looking on this site and other auction sites, for a breather top to replace one someone borrowed indefinitely off my Farmall H.Are they supposed to have the screen wire underneath? Why I wondered is because the newer ones and my old one seem to not have the screen. Some used ones for sale have the screen.Did My 1952 H have the screen and it rotted off?I like the jar style too,but that may have to wait till I find a good deal.

I think you are talking about the optional screen that mounts below the domed pre-cleaner. I believe that screen came as part of the corn picker package, because of the extreme amount of dirt and chaff. I see the original dome type pre-cleaners on e-bay quite often. If you can't find one there I may have one.
