I understand that the disc housing can keep the brake from working. What do they do to make them work better? My brakes look fine and are adjusted right. They slow down but they take too long and are no good for turning. My old "A" stops 10 times better whats up? HELP!
Thank's DAN

Check the seals on the pinion shafts. If oil is present these seals will need to be replaced.I use a sandblaster to take off the glaze and new discs are pretty cheap.

Take your disc to a clutch & brake reliner and have clutch lining materal installed on them, make sure they are the right thickness. Also cleaan up the expanders and if there is a glaze on the expander faces take a fine sidegrinder and clean them up,also the inside & outside drums. this will work. I have done this to a super C, super M, super MTA, and a 560.

When you remove the glaze also lube the ball with never seize. Be careful and use lube spareingly. Keep lube off braking surfaces.

They are probably glazed and can be reused by using a grinder or sander to bust the glaze on them. I also reverse them so they are turning opposite way they were. Also bust the glaze on the metal between them.
