The Super C that I have starts and runs but it will only run for a short time until it shuts off is this a fuel problem or is it maybe electrical ? and is it a wise ove to take off the generator and out a one wire alterator onto it ?

When it dies remove the plug as soon as you can in the bottom of the carb to see if a real steady supply of gas comes out as it sound like the flow is restricted and after it stops it will start again in a minute or so then die again it usually is gas related.

You need to do some trouble shooting on it. When it stops check to see if it has spark if so then check to see if it has gas. Pull the drain plug out of the bottom of the carb and make sure it has a good flow of gas comeing out the drain if not then its the carb.
