hello folks i have goten all my power=sterring parts except one just about ready to pull granny H in the shop. the charlynn unit has woodruff keys cut in both ends of the shafts but the steering shaft extender and the other coupling that i got from steel wheel ranch was not cut for woodruff keys only has 5/16 through holes for roll pins should i take the time to have them cut or will the roll pins be ok? the pins seem a little weak to me but i tend to over build everything what you guys think?

terry - My Super M Charlynn PS has only the roll pins. However there's actually TWO roll pins in each hole. A second, smaller diameter roll pin is driven inside the 5/16" pin after it is inserted.

When I had mine apart several years ago I replaced all (4) roll pins. I forget the size of the smaller pins now, but it is a standard size available at NAPA, etc.
