Now that the 1955 300 Utility replica is out,and selling like mad on EBAY,does anyone here have one? Is there any play in the steering? (lol)

I noticed the torque amplifier on the toy works just as well as the one on my tractor. Actually, it works better because the lever doesn't move so I don't waste time and energy pushing and pulling it.

Where is the air intake pipe. Should be sticking up somewhere.

The air intake on a Ute is under a louver in the left side hood. The "intake" is an oil bath/baffle arrangement linked to the carb via a rubber elbow. Its all under the hood.

Mine has the exhaust straight up thru the hood. Was that an option or standard? Also a seat like the 300 farmall. No fancy armrest or cushion. Sounds like mine was the bare bones unit. No T/A either.

The base 300U has the underslung exhaust,no Fast Hitch,no Hydra Touch,no power steering, metal pan seat,no tool box, nothing. You seat options are a covered pan seat, deluxe padded seat with back rest, and the same with padded armrests. The vertical exhaust was optional but I dont think they charged any extra for it.

WOW, that means mine has been modified. The air oil bath is where you said but also extends up thru the hood to a dirt trap. Was this a addon? It looks like a clean cut in the hood.

My 300U parts book shows the above hood precleaner was optional.

My 300 U air intake looks like the one in the picture. It is just past the right of the steering wheel. So now I know I don't have a vergin.

I was just refering to the pre-cleaner, not the tractor.

Looks like your 300 Farmall has the wrong color on the side panels.
