Did you check out the photo ads for the M's.. One puller M for $25,000, another for $15,000, and a restored M for $8500... Cripes, are they gold plated??? I think I'll stay out of the pulling side of the hobby.

Dave: I have my tractors priced that outragous, but then I don't want to sell them either. If you look at the hours that must have gone into these, he probably can justify his price.

Looking at the pullers, I have a friend with a IH 600, has a 318 Detroit installed. Probably will out pull those two M's put together. Problem is he has been banned from pulling. Seems as though they were pulling on the home stretch of a oval, mile long harness race track. My good friend had a few drinks and decided to go right around the track. Pull officials, more or less asked for it, as they claimed equipment was set to stop any tractor there on the straight side of track.

It turns my stomach to see good tractors wrecked like that. To me they aren"t worth the price of scrap!

the funny thing is is that you could probly build a new puller just like the one he has for 15 and 25 thousand.

Holy S#$%! I guess my Farmalls are all way under valued. I better call the insurance man and up my policy right away. Hey, this means, if I sell them all, I can retire early! Yippee!!!
Like they say tho, "Well ya gotta start your price high cuz ya can alway come down but not up." I'd say he took this a little too literal!
