I traded some parts a few years back for this cub cadet 80 which is missing hood and a few other items. Are there some parts out there or is this an exercise in futility. I've never been around this series much and have no idea what to do with it. It has Briggs engine in it and the rest of it appears to be pretty well in tact. No deck came with it but I have several decks from 122 and 123 models but that might be too big for this little guy???Thanks Migraine

They are a nice little mowing machine. If you want to restore it or parts it their is a little market for both. I had one also fixed it up and sold it for $400. It is a lawn tractor and the decks you mentioned will not fit without alot of modifications.

Check out www.ihregistry.com that should help you get a better feeling about the machine.

I have had good luck getting parts for my Cub Cadets using ebay. It's always nice to save another one from being dismantled.
