For the past couple weeks I have been spraying PB Blaster in the spark plug holes and tried some tranny fluid. Never did anything. I took the head off today and found that 3 cylinders have rusty sleeves. What is my next step?

You should drop the oil pan as suggested unbolt a connecting rod and use piece of 2X2 oak and tap
on the rod to see if they move. Don't get too wild when using the hammer. That's how I got the pistons out of an A. Two pistons came out with the sleeves & the other 2 w/o the sleeves.
Your sleeves may come out too, then you can heat them. I doubt if the pistons or sleeves can be used. You would be better off to pull the engine. The crankshaft should be measured for wear and ground undersize if needed. Good time to inspect clutch & replace if needed. Block should cleaned and new cam bearings installed too. Buy a spray can of Kroil and spray those pistons. Call 1-800-311-3374 for a can. You need to be patient too. Take pictures as you do the teardown and make notes. They will come in handy when the rebuild starts and don't throw everything in a box or bucket. Separate the parts as you remove them and identify where they were installed. Hal

Tweeter, First remove the gas tank, roll the tractor out of the shop. Keep all flamable liquids away!. Now one at a time pour diesel into the cylinders and set fire to the diesel. Let it burn itself out....Then drive out the piston. The heat from the fire will break the rust, expand the cylinder from the piston, and make it more easy to get apart. You will still be able to reuse the parts unless there are toooo much rust pits. or unless the rings are rusted up solid. The acetylene will heat it all up but be careful not to melt the metal if you plan to reuse the pistons and cylinders. Hope this helps.
Later,
John A.

Use a good acetylene torch and apply the heat. Hal

Well if you have gone that far pull the pand and take the rods loose so you can drive it out or pull the sleeve with the piston in it. Also if all you ever did was try to turn it over by hand instead of the starter you will never get it to turn. I have an H that was locked up and all I ever had to pull was the valve cover because of a stuck valve.

What is the heat for? Do I just hone the cylinder sleeves after the pistons are out or do I have to replace them with new ones?

Heat will expand the metal and help lossen things up. Its been my experence that once a sleeve has rusted to any extent, you must replace it and the piston as an assembly if you want a quailty running engine when your done. A rebuild kit for an H is fairly cheap so you might as well do it right and it will out last you if done right.

Sorry I don't understand your question sine I never said any thing about heat.
