This past weekend we were using my 300 on the elevator because we are picking corn, the problems is the electrical system is jury rigged so bad that it won't even keep the tractor running because of the viberations. Where would i find a new wire harness for a 12v system?

I've seen some tractors that have a cobweb of wires dangling off of them that would scare the heck out of you (My dad's Super C was one when I went to restore it). Nine times out of ten, 95% of those wires are dead leftovers. Really, wiring a Farmall is pretty simple, especially if you have the operaters/parts manual to consult, or someone like Bob M to guide you through it. As has been said, use different colored wires for ease of tracing.

I rewired my Super C this summer
I took off each wire labled each end clearly so I would know where to re install them !
Then I took them down to my local Generator /starter rebuilding place .
They gladly made me up a new harness with all the correct ends and nice heat shrink insulation ,correct colors for under $60.

Here's a web site for tractor wiring harnesses. You may decide to do it yourself after looking
at the price as the others have suggested. Hal

Did ya ever try your friendly local Case IH dealer might supprise ya and if not then build one BUT DON't make it out of all the same color wire do it to factory that way the next guy can look in a book and see just what wire he is working on . And i have worked on atleast one to many HACKED UP JOBS , just drives me about over the edge when ya have to work on a wireing problem and the whole tractor is done up with one color wire and i just love those wire nuts this ain't a house.

I don't know where you could find one, guess thats why I make my own. Its not all that hard to do. Just start with one wire and replace them one at a time the wrap them with a good tape and be done with it. I've done that on a lot of old tractors and trucks.
