I have a IH 3514 backhoe with a D188 diesel engine....The engine has been rebuilt and my dad and I did a valve job on the head and put it on.....my problem is when the engine gets at temperature the oil drizzles out the blowby tube leaving a puddle of oil on the ground.....The engine doesnt really smoke when digging with it....it just smokes a little blue at idle....I dont understand what is causing this? Any ideas? I think it has good compression....the engine has power....just drizzles oil out that blowby tube

The rings and cylinders may be getting a little worn. Any oil blowing out of the oil filler when you remove the cap while the engine is running fast? Hal

You should check compression just to be sure.
