I recently won a set of brake pedals on e-bay for what I thought was for my '52 super m. They were advertised as to fit a super m but after receiving them I noticed that they were for the M's band type brakes. They are in great shape, just don't fit my tractor. Anybody got any spare super m pedals without wore out bores?

If the bore is wore out on your present pedals do what I did a few years ago on my 756. I found a peice of plastic pipe that fit the shaft and then took the pedals to a machine shop and had them bored out to the OD size of the pipe. that was about 15 years ago and they are still working great.

boy, my advice to you - you need to know what you are doing before doing it. study the item and find out all you can before you do something stupid. a good set of fred flintstone brakes should work. use your head, just drag your feet stupid. fred did!! if that dont work stupid, put er in reverse. there is a company that can make them things for you, they good tooo! thay a wittle shop named fortland porge. dont know where they at but peoples tell me they somewheres in that otder kuntry that they call kencusky. boy, be wise and be smart, buy you a mule. night!!

I don't believe I have ever read a post with a more vivid display of ignorance than yours.

Congratulations, you belong in the Darwin Awards.

The only thing you did that was halfway intelligent is that you cowardly hid behind a juvenile handle.

Hot dog Daddy, I can only hope that when you make a mistake that the folks here are at least as forgiving as you are. If you do this for a while,( mess wtih old tractors), you are bound to make mistakes for which you may or may not wish to admit to others, lest they react as you did and question the IQ of the person who made said mistake. The bottom line is that we ALL make stupid mistakes, and I"ll bet you are no small exception. You may be just too proud to admit it.

Whew! You seem to have a lot of your self worth wrapped up in his brake purchase and his simple mistake. What's up with that?

Local technical colleges can use the old pedals for reality repair. Putting bronze oil-lite bushings into a straightened hole is simple.
My two cents, JimN

Take your pedals to a machine shop and have them put bushings in them. Boyd
