Hi, just curious if anyone knew how many Stage 2 Super H's were built in 53. Mine is ser. #21771, and didn't know if this was one of the first or not. Just curious. Thanks, Rob

See serial numbers link at left. 53 started at 501 and ended at 22201.

I checked that out, but what I'm curious about, is when in 1953 did they start building the Stage-2 Super H's. Thanks, Rob

I think they must have started some Stage 2 changes late in 1953 and didn't make them all at once. I have a Super H that is a Stage 1, S/N 17556 that has the Stage 2 front end, but the rest is like the Stage 1 without live hydraulics. Roger

OK DWV,

22201-19234 = 2967
Are you saying that is the total for stage II SH's?

No I just meant that is supposed to be the serial # of first stage 2 built. The 22201 is supposed to be last 1953 tractor.Stage 2 was built into 54 to serial # 29285 according to some
sources. Don't know if anyone knows exact # built
because some opinions or facts, (I don't know)say all the serial numbers between begining and end wern't used.

For 1953, yes. I've got one, serial number's just shy of 21000, something like 20996, but I don't remember the exact number.

They made about twice as many in 1954, then started making 300s.

See, my Stage II is a 1953 Ser. #21771. It has all of the 1954 characteristics. I was just wondering how many of these type tractors were built in 1953
