International 300 utility removing rear axle hubs

I'm trying to replace the seals on my rear axles and cannot get the hubs on the axles to come off. I've removed the wheels and the round end of axle plate bolted to the axle to keep the hub on. I can see interlocking slots between the axle and the hub, plus there is a lot of rust.

I'm on my second day of trying and have used several different types of penetrating oils, heating the hub with a torch and pounding on the flanges of the hub. So far I haven't been able to get them to move.

On the hub I have three screws or bolts with two of them holding a small metal plate onto the hub. The screws are around 1/8 inch diameter and I'm wondering if the third one is somehow used to hold the hub on. It doesn't seem likely to me since there was a thick round plate bolted to the end of axle holding on the hubs.

Any ideas on how to get the hubs off? Any ideas as to whether the third screw might also be holding on the hubs?

Any ideas are appreciated!

Ya have the plate off so put the bolt back in the hole and get a puller and use a littel heat not cherry red and some good penatrating fluid , myself i like ZEP's the best next is blasters . Don't go beating on it as it will break then you will be asken where to find a hub.

I've run out of cuss words and penetrating oil and still can't get the hubs off!

I put the end of axle bolt back in and chained bottle jacks to each hub and am pushing against the boltheads with as much force as I can get on the jack handles. I've been heating the hubs with a couple hand held propane torches several times over the last week and spraying penetrating oil every day. I spent a half hour heating one hub tonight with both torches and got it smoking good but still no luck.

Is there any chance of a shear key holding on the hub somehow? I can't find any sign of one. I took off the heavy round plate that was bolted to the end of the axles, that overlaped the hub lugs and figured as heavy as it was that it was the only thing holding the hubs on the axles.

Is there anything different I should be trying? Or is heating and soaking in oil the only way to get the hubs off?

I'm wondering if maybe I should just live with the axle seals leaking oil.
