Hi Hans. You will need the correct manual for that tractor. The engine is a glowplug start diesel wich was only fitted to UK built tractors. The transmission and tracks were very similer to the US built TD6 tractors. MJ

Dear MJ in the UK
Thank you for the information.
I am offered a manual for a machine enumerated as the DT 6... is this the same as a BTD6?
Would you know?
Thank you
Hans

Hi Hans. As you maybe know the BTD6 Crawler tractor was built at the IH Doncaster UK factory. For manuals try Steven Moate at www.classictractors.co.uk Because of the high insurance risks UK companies will not send parts to USA and Canada. MJ

Hi Hector,
Thank you for the reply. I have looked on this site, and do not find a workshop manual for a BTD6, only for a TD6, which I believe are different machines, in that they do not have the same motors.
If you have a manual for a BTD6 I would like tobuy same.
Regards
Hans
