I am getting constant hydraulic seapage from the plate under my gas tank while tractor is running. What is this to and what is the remendy. Is it just a bad gasket? Also, my power steering barely works when I have my loader on. Any easy fixes for this problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Could you give us a better description ? Is it the plate that bolts to trans. top ? Since you're having a P/S problem it could be the lines to the steering column. Are you having to add hyd. fluid often ?

It is the plate that the steering arm comes off of under the gas tank. Do you think I will have to remove the gas tank to remove plate for new gasket?

Yes, it looks like the plate above the transmission. It's not using fluid to the point where I am worried though. Just a constant flow.

Not sure what place your talking about but most of the plates I have seen had O-rings under them and you may have one that has gone bad on you.
