A Stage 1 SH will have belly pump hydraulics and the battery box under the gas tank. The serial number will be 19233 or below.

Stage 2 has live hydraulics and the battery box beneath the seat. The S/N will be 19234 or higher.

Both stages will have 164 engines (look for "C164" cast in the upper right rear of the engine above the oil filter) and disk brakes.

Note however there's plenty of regular H's that have been re-decalled with "Super" decals. Serial numbers and casting date codes are the true indication whether a particular SH is a truly a super.

If your H has a live pump and you don't object to doing some sheet metal mod's to the hood to provide space, a CharLynn PS kit can be adapted to install on an H.

Punch below for CharLynn installation instructions for an M.
