Thought I'd also post my thoughts on your question about leaving your H on LP on a new link, as my original post is so far down on the second page that you might not see it. I'm not trying to start anything here, but I think there might be a lot of people out there who feel as I do about leaving old iron like it was used.

That being said, I'd leave it on LPG, if that was the way it was used. I know the correct police will rag on you (& probably me, too) about doing that, but I believe that it is just as important to have tractors with "field modifications" that show how farmers used them as it is to have them "factory correct" when they are taken to shows. IMHO, part of the fun of this hobby is to preserve the heratige of that old iron that you & I love so much & part of that heratige is showing how that old iron was actually used in the field. I guess I forgot all about that after I replied. I think if it were mine I would leave it just like it is. Afterall, when you go to a tractor show and look at Farmall Hs pretty soon you've seen them all and don't even notice the little differences, but if there is one sitting there with a big 'ol propane tank on it then it gets interesting again. Just because IH didn't build it that way doesn't mean it isn't correct. "Correct" is what worked for the farmer.

I wanted one bad enough that we spent a pile of money to build one on LP with single front and extra long axles.
