Quick question,

Where do most of you purchase your oil filters for your F-20. I know Rice has them but is there any other places?

Thanks,
Rev.

The engine oil filter for the F-20 should be the same engine oil filter used on the Farmall M. Try an IH dealer for one.

I just ordered filters and a few other things from my dealer. They are THE best place to buy. In most cases, the dealer is cheaper than aftermarket, and at least as good of quality if not better.

Also, the service I receive is second to none. I ordered the welch plugs for the gear shift, the pin and the knob. I also ordered filters for my three (farmall) tractors and grandpa's DC-3 Case. Will be delivered to my door with no freight (he will throw it in his parts truck if he's going by, otherwise mailed). Here's the good part - there is a serial # break on the H & the M's filters. At the parts store, I would of had to have the serial #s. Here I could have went outside and looked (ordered over the phone), but they just asked what year - I was far enough off that they knew.

These guys have been in business for years not because they are good at screwing the customer, but because they are good at serving them.

Don't support them boys and they won't be around.

short rant follows..... ..As long as places like NAPA and every other po-dunk parts house claims to be "tractor parts experts" you will never get the anti-dealer crowd to see the light.

IH built these fine machines, not some Brand X parts house. If you want the ORIGINAL source of the ORIGINAL Spec'd, QUALITY parts to dissapear, just forget about calling/seeing the dealer everytime..... they will go away.

Try the Brand X/non dealer parts house for some accurate tech information too. You will quickly find out how shoddy they are.
