Their is a 1 point brush hog made by or for the cubs. We had one on our cub. I was too young to pay attention when we sold it. Worked ok. Cub was under-powered and needed an over running pto adapter. Cute little thing though.

Unless you get a pull-behind mower with its own engine, you're out of luck. The Cub's PTO runs backwards, and at 1800 RPM instead of the standard 540 RPM. On top of that, it's offset. Common PTO driven equipment will not work with the Cub, plus it doesn't have the horsepower to run much more than a 42" brush hog.

The fact the PTO is offset wouldn't matter, assuming it turned at the right speed and direction. Lots of "normal" offset tractors (A, Super A, 100, 130, 140) run PTO driven bush hogs with no problem.

Call 1-866-869-6637 to see if there's a pull behind mower available for the Cub. I agree with
Dan on using a belly mounted mower instead of the pull behind. Hal

I used to see a Cub with a pull-behind, PTO driven bush hog type mower near Stamps, AR. It disappeared after setting at a garage for several months so probably was sold. I never stopped to examine it, just saw it as I was driving by. I would think that a belly mount would much more effective when working corners or other tight spots. Dan
