I found a 1944 IH WF and thought of putting it on my 1950 NF M. The plate that bolts under the front between the rails has a hole that doesn"t match with my radiator drain. Also the plate has holes at the back but my frame does not. Were different frame rails made for WF tractors? I hate to start putting holes in my frame. What to do with the radiator drain? eliminate and plug it?? Thanks

The rear hole on the plate are what the axel bolts to. The plate is just an adapter to move the axel rearward. One set should be tapped and one set bolts through. If you want to cut a hole for the radiator drain or cap it. Make sure the radiator is bolted to the frame (you can"t get to the bolts with the adapter plate installed).
