Hey guys. I never got any responses from my previous post on the implement board and got a few out of you guys so I will post another one. I found out the casting numbers and information that I was looking for from a fella that has a sheller like mine. NOW: The gear that I am missing is labeled "T120" (cast into one of the spokes). Does anybody know if that gear is also used on the 1-hole shellers? If it is, then i'll be in business as the 1-holers are much more common and i'll have a bigger pool of parts to pick from. Thanks! For reference, this is the larger gear, approximately 70 teeth, 1" wide face.

Jeb, part number T-120 was used only on the XL shellers from 1926 to 1932. From 1932 to 1937 the 70 tooth gear was part number T-4074. You had asked about the missing gear on the opposite side from the fly-wheel,that is where the hand crank with drive gear mounts to(gear and crank looks to be one piece in parts book). The crank was removed when belt pulley for moter drive was attached.

Were there any other changes made in 1932? I was unaware of the part number change. I did get a picture of the hand crank so I know what that looks like now, thanks. Since my gear was broken and was missing the part with the cast number on it, I was working off of others' information. What are the differences between T120 and T4074? I'd hate to end up with the wrong gear if I ever ran across it....same story on the T4074 (only used on the XL's)? Thanks for that bit of info!
