Hope I don't hurt anyone's feelings here, but I almost shot coffee out of my nose when I saw this on EBay. Kind of like writing your name in your underwear so you can remember what it is.

All kidding aside, I think the guy just wanted to identify the tractor so he could sell it. Non-Farmall people don't know the difference between an H, M, C, or maybe not the difference between even an A or B, and an H or M. I don't really fault him for that.

Non-Farmall people? You're pulling my leg. There's no such thing.

Two weeks ago, I made a road trip to pick up a belly mower I bought on Ebay. The guy had several tractors for sale, one of them a Farmall Cub that had the authentic "H" emblem on both sides of the hood, instead of "Cub". I thought, "I wonder how many fools would fall for that."

I wouldn't be too hard on the guy. A few years ago it was about imposable to even get decals for vintage tractors. Some people still don't know where to get them. third party image

Good grief Charlie Brown, bought and sold 34 tractors in the last two years and could have saved a BUNCH of money instead of buying those pesky decal sets. Just not enough imagination on my part I guess. Harley
