I have a hyd leak, on my 1958 Cub and it appears to be coming from the hyd resivor. I believe its mounted by four bolts in the main housing. It seeps where the gasket is. I am not sure but this appear this way to me. I am looking for some ideas or help. It hasn't leaked until now, but the tractor was in storage for well over ten years.
Thanks for any all help.

Tom:

I am no expert, but if my mind is working correctly, I think your reservoir needs an o-ring. In otherwords, a rebuild.

Check out the correct procedure on the Cub Manual Server. There is a the GSS-1024 Touch Control Service Manual as well as the Touch Control Maintenance Manual.

Remember to check the part number on your reservoir. There are two models, so you need the correct hydraulic block number to get the correct rebuild kit.

The correct part numbers should be available in the TC-37F Parts Catalog, also on the server.

Hope this helps.

www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/index.html is the address of the server.
