I finally found the tranny oil level plug for my 1966 farmall 140, but the problem is i can't find something to stick in there to turn it, i thought a 3/8" rachet would work but its too big, 1/4" is too small, anybody know the size i need?

1/2 inch drive will fit loosely, if it is the same as the Super A plug.

CNKS: Mitch is talking about the transmission fill to level plug, at front end and just below left fender. My SA has a square head pipe type plug, while my 130 and 140 do take a 3/8 drive handle to remove it. Someone must have switched the plug in Mitch's tractor. I basically accepted the fact, he take the suggestion for the 5/16 square stock.

You might try a piece of 5/16" square stock.
