HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY 666. The tractor will only run with choke on. I have rebuilt the carb.,cleaned all the lines from tank.float is not sticking.starts and runs fine then just dies.will run with choke pulled. fuel shutoff switch clicks when you plug it in .what happens when these switchs go bad ?Will the tractor run at all ?Help?

If that carburetor has the main jet adjusting screw near the bottom of the carburetor you need to open it several turns, that's CCW. An engine is running too lean when you need the choke on after the engine is warm. Make sure you have a
good flow of gas from the tank at the carb. inlet.

Normaly they just don't even start . First off do you have good fuel flow to the carb??? should be a full line full stream , Also you could still have a blocked passage in the carb. Is the floate set correctly ??? If your not sure about the selinoid pull it out and hold your finger over the hole and start the tractorand also ground it and see if the needel is pulling back when the key is turned on.
