I have a hydro 84 with a 2250 loader and have been using it mainly for moving small round bales(800Lbs. max). My problem is I have broken 2 front bolsters in the 5 months I have owned it.The first one had been welded, so I thought that may have weakend it. Both times it broke where the pin slides in to the bolster to hold the axle on. I discovered there was a bolt in the center of the axle pin missing. This pin keeps the pin from sliding rearward toward the engine and falling out of the front hole in the bolster. Was this missing bolt my problem, or should I be looking for another loader tractor? Any help would be appreciated.

The terrain, and the speed at which you drive through that terrain, have a lot to do with your problem, I believe. 800lbs is a good load, but if you're bouncing cross-lots at 7MPH, it's no wonder the front end breaks.
