Have just purchased a 1956 Farmall 100.
Has anyone got a Pulley\P.T.O. assembly for this tractor.

Thanks.

Norman: Most any tractor scrap yard should have one. Anything from Super A through 140 and C through 240 will fit.

The C through 240 have a longer input shaft. Stay with Super A through 140.

Jim: I must admit, I should have asked a couple of questions in the beginning. In this part of the country it is quite uncommon to find an offset Farmall with no PTO. It is however quite common to find one with no belt pulley. I will now ask those questions. Does the PTO unit on the offsets have the shorter input shaft than C through 240? Are the belt pulley gear box, shafts and gears the same? The reason I raise this is I've over the years sold two pulley gear box units off SA and 130 to guys putting them on 230s. I've heard no complaints from either, and both were local phone calls. Both 230s had PTO.

I read this question as asking about a PTO and pulley, not just the pulley attachment.

As far as I know, the pulley attachment to go on an existing PTO is the same, or virtually the same across all these models. The PTO attachments for the C-240 have longer drive shaft and shifter tube because the transmission housing is longer than on the Super A-140. The 240 also has a different PTO gear ratio than the earlier tractors. Other than those differences, I think any other differences are pertty minor.
