I was wrong, this tractor does have the TEL-A-DEPTH system. It's a cable so I missed it. The cable is connected and free. I disconnected it to see if I could move it by hand and make a difference, NO. When I move the regular lift control, everything works fine than the cable moves and I'm back to high pressure. Even with the cable disconnected,I cannot move the lever to a position to release the high pressure. I'm sure I'm just to dumb to see a simple problem, so I'm asking again for any advice before I send this thing down the road. Thanks for all your help, Wayne

That cable needs to be attached for proper operation and everything adjusted right or you
will have the problem you do. The early cable system was troublesome, and most were changed to the later linkage system.

Get an I&T service manual, or equivalent and "get to know" the system. I suppose you could hook the depth control valve direct to the quadrant lever, but you would have to manually disengage it at the desired level.
