I have an original IH 300U and 350U Parts Catalog published 05-1960. There is no mention of a factory cab assemble. I am not interested in an after market canvas job. Does anyone have any information about an original factory cab for the 300U/350U. Is there another model that will fit - like a 504U etc. Has anyone had any luck putting a cab on a 300U/350U. Thanks.

Thanks for the input. A neighbor has a couple older small IH cabs from 500 or 700 series. If I have any luck I will post a picture of the results.

You're right about the optional attachments Delbert. But I assume if a cab for the 300/350/330 ever existed it was from an aftermarket supplier. It is also possible that the Utilities were more popular in the southeast & the warmer climate meant there was no market for the cabs. I've never seen one or a pic of a cab for them. I have seen a couple of attempts at homemade ones though.

A cab wouldnt be in the tractor parts catalog because it was considered an optional implement/attachment.I would like a cab,but consider it confining and makes it harder to work on.There are good/and bad points both ways.

I have several 1960"s original Case and IH parts catalogs and in the back of each is a optional attachment section for wheel weights, wheels, wheatland options, fast hitch, belt pulleys etc. Each of the catalogs has cab pictorials except the 300U/350U. My bad for the cab would be brush chopping in the wood lanes. My good for the cab would be staying out of 0 degree winds while snow plowing.
