What are the temperature restrictions on applying PPG Omni 170 epoxy primer. It's going to get cooler here in the next couple of days. The guys I bought it from said 70F but I suspect they are playing it safe. I saw a white paper on the web that said no lower than 50F and I'm wondering if the temp has to be that high for the entire 24-hour cure time or just in the initial 10 hours or so.

While the "rules" for primer may be more lax than for topcoat, I wouldn't change anything. You might be able to go down to 60 degrees, I wouldn't go lower than 65, and prefer 70. Rule of thumb is to keep the temperature up during the drying process -- I do not know for sure what "up" means. I would guess you are ok at 60 or above. Might work at 50 if that's what the paper says, but I would not want to do that. The link indicates that it is dry in 30 minutes, so you probably don't have to worry about it. Ask Rod(NH) on the paint forum -- he knows more than I do.
