Went to mow with tractor the other day noticed noise coming from housing on right side. Think it had something to do with brakes. Sounded like a scrubbing noise but was'nt loud. Thought brake might not be releasing completely but did not notice any loss in power from tractor. Sprayed some PB blaster into housing where brake rod attaches which quietened somewhat. What might be problem? And the cheapest solution. Thanks

Oh yeah sorry, you could try backing off on your brake adjustment, but whatever you end up doing to one side you need to make the other side the same.

Avery, If you wanted to check if the right brake was sticking, just jack that side of the tractor up and spin your wheel. You could also listen for any noises with the motor off. The brake band may be rubbing on the drum slightly. You dont want to spray any lubricant in there as you would lose some of your braking ability.
