I want to thank everyone that helped me with this so far. I pulled the old bushing and installed the new bushing. I want to now ream it to the proper spec. I didn't get my new throttle shaft yet (I won't ream it until I get it) but did measure some aftermarket ones with a mike(Pretty new) and the shaft OD's are .248". My reamer size is .250". Someone said .001" clearence, so should I get a .249" reamer while I am waiting for my new IH Throttle shaft to arive or is .002" clearence ok? I only want to do this once. Thanks!!

I personnally would wait and check the fit of the new shaft before I did anything.and 2 thousands isn't much so I personnally would go with it

I'm the one recommending .001". Throttle shafts need to control the location of the plate when Idle to a close positioning. long wear and service life are also extended with less slop to begin with. Waiting is the best solution. Reaming through both holes at the same time assures their alignment.
Patience and good reaming,
JimN

I reamed it to .250". My Throttle shaft was about .2485". Is the Throttle butterfly supose to completely block off the bore when it is closed all of the way? I have some space on the side. Thanks!!
