I just complete a change of all the seals in a Farmall 200 rear. Now reverse puts the tractor in forward and 1,2,3 and 4 puts it in reverse.
HELP! Did I put the differential drive on the wrong side of the transmission output shaft. My parts book does not show me left or right. Thats the only thing I can think of.

Jim: I'll join the ranks along with the vet. I did it once with my Farmall 560. Being in a hurry was and still is my only excuse. Crown gear on wrong side of pinion.

Take it all back apart and turn the ring gear and carrier around 180 degrees , Don't feel bad i even did this once but that was back when i was a kid on my first complet rebuild of a old D8 cat 2 u seires that taught me to mark everything that i ever took apart and was going to be awhile before it went back together .
