My dads SMTA has a M&W stroker kit from the old days (like the 60s) that may not be too old for some of you. Anyway, when I was growing up dad would do some field work with it and man that thing would run. When he was in the field it would shake the windows in the house. I still have his tractor and that thing STILL runs hard. I have a late M and would like it to run like dads SMTA. I have heard that the mains in a M are not strong enough for serious HP. If I bore it out a lot I am concerned with is overheating... Any thoughts. I am sure you do...

Put in a Super M or 450 block, then it will be like Dad's !
