I just unloaded the 2nd 424 in my yard,they are my sisters she got out of a divorce, don't know much about them( since I am an oliver man)
accept that the engines are both stuck!!! is there any thing I can do to try to free them up? if I drug them down A paved road would that damage any thing?


any help would be apriciated kevin

In my opinion, the easiest solution with the least damage likely is to put something in the cylinders as a penetrant, and then every few days (with the tractor in high gear) grab the back wheel and rock it hard back and forth. When you see the fan begin to move, you can say "yessss!"

You might ruin the clutch if you pulled it down a paved road. Try using a hand crank or mix like brake fuild with penetrating oil, pour that in the plug holes(It may take a long time)and periodically try to turn it with a hand crank. If you want to pop the clutch, do it on dirt after a period of soaking. Levi
