I cannot get the timing marks on the roosa-master pump to line up. I get the timing mark lined up on the fan pulley, try to move the pump to line up but can"t get close. What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

if its the same problem i had take off the injector lines then try tuning the pump after you get it set reatach the lines and bleed it the other thing you may want to check is once you move it to line up the marks tighten it down then spin the motor over a few times then recheck mine was pritty sloppy so it took a few trys oh also you may have noticed but the pointer is on the opisit side that the book says well at least mine is good luck

Possibly the cam gear keyway is slopped out. I had a very similar situation with mine. Ended up needing a different camshaft.
