With the help of Terry, det that my "relief valve cap" (15 063 ec) was loose in my pump reservoir. Put it back on, but am afraid it could come off again as the "finger" that holds it on moves back (against the spring) enough to allow cap to come off. Anybody come across this??
thx,
Lou

It Happens all the time. When I had mine a part I did something to help cant remember now it was too long ago But I think that pulling the lever all the way back so it locks is the way they mostly come off.Plus wear, So when you use it pull it back as much as you need dont pull it back till it locks. At least I think thats what makes them come off not 100% sure.

Oh, also the seal "CR 43509-D" appears to be replaced by a much cheaper looking seal a la, one that would seal a front car inner wheel bearing. Think this seal can do the trick?
thx a mill
Lou

I don't know about that particular seal, but most of the old seals I've replaced on my H, the new ones were half as thick. I know some people (me, too, some places) put two of the new ones in place of one of the old ones. Made it easier when trying not to put the new seal on the worn spot on the shaft.
