Punch below for a few pics from the Western NY 2 Cylinder Club/Stokoe Farm Pumpkins antique tractor plow day this past Sunday.

A half dozen 2 cylinder tractors, also two each Farmall and Oliver tractors and my Minnie Mo U plowed/fitted wheat stubble under near ideal conditions.

Lotsa fun!

Bob: What do you mean, Super M and me, thought that SM pulling 4 bottoms was your father inlaw's domain. He looked more relaxed than you do.

Great bunch of photos, looks like a fun day.

Virgil - Punch below for a shot of my son and his new bride at taken at their wedding reception a couple months ago.

Incidentally a "John Deere" garter made it's appearance a little later on in the afternoon festivities (she couldn't find a "Farmall" garter)

Bob, I wish my ground plowed up as nice as that farm. Behind the plow it looked as though a disk had gone over it. Also you beat the weather, we recieved over 3 inches of rain last night.

Indeed - we JUST beat the rain here! It began shortly after dark and is still coming down hard at noon. We're under a flood watch thru this evening...

Nice. My grandfather and about 10 other nieghbors in the mid 50's all got together and plowed a injured farmers land to get his crops in. I have the paper article and picture of them. I want to see if I can get in touch with all the grandchildren of them farmers and see if we can have a reunion of sorts and have a plow day here as I believe most of the tractors in the original photo are still in the families. Does any one know if photo places can take an old newspaper pic and copy it to make a clearer digitally updated color photo? This is the only one any one has and I would like to make a new print for all the families.

fluggie, what part of Iowa are you in? Our club down here in southwest Iowa is considering a plow day later this fall. Fuel costs are causing several of us to drag our feet a bit, but I look for it to happen anyhow.

Rusty have I got a deal for you. Bring them all down here to the ridge and we'll see who has the REAL tractor. Between no rain and all the rocks, I don't think you could sink a plow in the ground without dynamite. One thing about it, it sure would scour quick. Harley
