If it is and I H plow of the 540-660 -700-720 seires then yes as all I H plows were built on a basic 3 bottom setup , like i said remove the tail wheel and gauge wheel by unbolting them from the rear bottom and amssure how much plow beam there is from the botttom hole to the end of the beam and them you know just how far back from the third bottom to make your cut and rebolt the tail wheel and gauge wheel . If you take a real close look at the main beam you will see the extra holes from the third bottom on back. then the last thing to do is shorten up the coupling pole. Some times ya have to change the hitch pins from 2's or 3's to cat. 1 and it is best to bite the bullet and by them from Case IH as the ones ya get aftermarket are not strong enough.

Yup. Can be done. Answer depends on how the plow was constructed. On some plows you can add or remove bottoms by unbolting and removing a section. It may be just as easy to drop off the 4th bottom.

I think that you will find that it is going to take a lot of "retro engineering" to get this to work. There are usually braces/beams that give you the 12/14/16 inches offset between the lays. You would have to manufacture all of these to make this work. Then you would also be changing the center point on how the plow trails behind the tractor. In my opinion you would be way ahead to just by an 18" plow. Just my $0.02 worth.
