I asked the question about hydraulic always running under pressure. I did what you said but no change. What did you mean by orifice being collapse? There seans to be a screen/valve behind the top valve. This tractor did have a front loader at one time if that makes a difference. Thanks for any help, Wayne

Did you find the small orifice screen that screws into the valve body, located under the cover, kind of between the two valve bores? This screen gets plugged and colapses, causing the promlem you describe.

I believe I found the problem. I stopped at the IHC dealership and told them what I did. They said that should had worked. I took the regulator apart again with the same results. As I was cleaning up I finally notice the smell and realise That my son had filled the hydraulics with 90 wt. gear oil, not hydraulic oil. I believe this will fix the problen and thank you again for all your help. Thanks Wayne
